NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

12TH JANUARY, 2022

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh celebrated The National Youth Day in the school premise maintaining all the Covid-19 protocol. The school celebrates the day as its Annual Day, a cultural extravaganza giving exposures to the budding artists every year. Unlike every year the program was brief but felicitous.

The program started with Mangalacharan followed by a Floral tribute at the feet of Swamiji and Bharatmata. A borgeet was performed by the music teacher Smt.Pranamika Bordoloi and Sri Manik Ch. Borah. The Bharatnatyam was presented with all its fervor by the students of class 8 and 9. Needless to say the way Satriya dance was savored by everyone present in the hall. The folk dance by girls students was also awesome. The “entwined twins”(jugal bandi) was by two students of 11 and 12 heralded the prized possession of cultural root. The fusion of piano and flute was cherished even after the program was over.

The Principal, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar extended an articulated and thought provoking speech. He appealed everyone the importance of introspection and unselfish service for the cause of society and the satisfying result out of the service irrespective of its amount. At last but not the least Vice Principal R.M.Thakre offered vote of thanks.

The event ended with Shanti Mantra.
