Director Sri Narahari Sastry, Sri Jatin Kalita, Sri S.P.Saikia, Sri Mohanlal and Five other members visited our Vidyalaya on 18th August, 2021 and interacted with Science and Maths teachers.Principal Sir introduce about our Vidyalaya and alsofelicitated the dignitaries with Assamese tradition Gamusa and Kendra publication books.
The director of NEIST told the purpose of arriving at our vidyalaya which is to connect all the ATL schools and provide good laboratory facilities to all the students.
They gifted us books of science and literature, several lab equipments and two saplings ofGilloi and Ashok plant.

The 75th Independence Day, 2021
Independence Day was celebrated in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh premises amidst Covid-19 protocols in a patriotic fervour. Many teachers, students, parents and well-wishers got connected through virtual mode. Started with chanting of three Omkars followed by Mangalacharan. The programme began with floral tribute at Shahid Vedi. The Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar hoisted the National Flag with reverence and honour along with the National Anthem by everyone. The Principal in his speech greeted all and conveyed his reverence to all great martyrs who laid their lives for the sake of freedom. He said that we as citizens of this country should take the pledge to arouse in us a sense of responsibility and duty towards our motherland.
The Chief Guest of the day’s programme, Smt. Meera Kulkarni, VK Assam Pranth Sanghatak spoke on the significance of the historic day.
She said the Day is special as it speaks a lot about our rich culture and traditions. Of the two cultural programmes in the agenda, the first was the presentation of a Desh Bhakti Geet by the teachers of the Vidyalaya and the other was the presentation of Solo Patriotic Dance by Kum. Joy Priya Gogoi of Std I. The Vice –Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Rambhao Thakre delivered the vote of thanks. In his speech, besides thanking all, he specially expressed thankfulness to the speakers of the programme for their advises what we all as citizens of this country have to imbibe in us for maintaining the integrity of the country. A total of 193 people attended the programme through virtual mode with the gathering of 50 in the vidyalaya field. The programme came to an end with shanti mantra.
