LACHIT DIWAS - 2021
Lachit Diwas celebrates the birth anniversary of the legendary Ahom army general, Lachit Borhukan. It was observed on 24th November in our vidyalaya. Floral tribute was offered to the legend followed by a speech on significance of the day by one of the teachers, Chandana Bharali didi. A group of Students from class VI sang a great ‘Moi Lachite Koisu’. Priyakhyan Gogoi of class VI and Mousam Chiangmai of class XI enthusiastically recited poems on Veer Lachit in honour of his strength and power. The programme ended by a short speech by Dhiwyanshu Bharali of class I Paying tribute to the hero of Assamese history.
