PROGRAMS OF CALIFORNIA BASED ORGANIZATION COGNITIVE EXCHANGE
An interaction programme was organised on 27th Dec,2021 with Amit Deokule Director Cognitive Exchange, India, as the chief guest.The secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Trust, Smt.Aparna didi was also present in the meeting.

The principal of the vidyalaya,Sri Rabindranath Savdeykar felicitated the guests with a traditional   and delivered the welcome speech.Students of classes VIII & IX attended the session. Sri Amit Deokule addressed the students. He spoke about the objective and role of Cognitive Exchange Programme. The session was conducted for around two hours.

 AN INTERACTION PROGRAM WITH SMT. NAVANEETA DESHMUKH AND BAPPU DESHMUKH

An interaction program was held on 4th December 2021 in the Vidyalaya Sanskriti  Sabhagriha with Srimati Navaneeta Deshmukh and Bappu Deshmukh, both teacher educator from Puducherry and was attended by all the teachers of our Vidyalaya. Nabanita Deshmukh introduced herself as a storyteller who has penned down several stories for children and also writes articles and frequently contributes for magazines. She is also an consultant in Azim Premji foundation and a teacher in a school at Puducherry. Both Navaneeta and Bappu Deshmukh conducted a session with all teachers irrespective of their subject background. The following points were discussed related to classroom teaching:

1. Types of learners

2. How to conduct classes for different types of learners visual learners, auditory learners and Kinetic learners.

3. How to give clear instructions in the classroom.

4. Use of blackboard etc.

The program followed an open discussion and concluded with Principal's vote of thanks.

AN INTERACTION PROGRAM WITH BOARD EXAMINATION CANDIDATES

An interaction program of class 12 science, commerce and arts Board Candidates, teachers with the Principal of our Vidyalaya was conducted on 2nd December - 2021 online through Googlemeet at 6.30 p.m.

In the interaction program, he advised the board candidates to sit for the exam with a cool, calm and relaxed mind.

He also further added that reading skills and analytical skills come into play when the exam is solely based on MCQ questions. The interaction program continued for 10 minutes. Students were encouraged to present their queries. Few students expressed their concern related to timing of examination. The online meeting was attended by 79 students and concluded with sarbe bhavantu.

The objective of the online meeting was to boast the confidence of the students and wish them good luck for the examination.

NCSC-2021, DISTRICT LEVEL REPORT

DISTRICT ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

29th NATIONAL CHILDREN’S SCIENCE CONGRESS, 2021 DISTRICT: DIBRUGARH, ASSAM

District level national children’s science congress was organized by district organizing committee on dated 20th November, 2021. Where the child scientists had to make a video of their Science project presentation of maximum 8 minute durationand had to send it by whats app/email on or before 18th November, 2021. There were two child scientists in one group (group leader & co-worker). Child scientists had to use four numbers of posters (hand written) during their presentation which should be distinctly visiblein the video. Child scientists must record the video in a class room of their own school with proper uniform in presence of respective guide teacher. On the day of DistrictCongress (20th November), the child scientists had to be present in their own school and had to face question session from the judges via video conference. From VKV, DIBRUGARH four groups were participated (two junior & two senior). Out of these four groups, one junior child scientists group was selected to participate in STATE level children’s science congress, 2021.
