 UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY

Universal Brotherhood Day was observed in Vidyalaya on 11/09/2021 from 09.00 A.M in the Sanskriti Sabagriha. The programme started with  Mangalacharan  followed by welcome speech by Vice- Principal. Manik Sir presented Kakoti Gokha and flute rendition by Mousam Prayas Sangmai, student of Class 11 Science.The girl students of Class 12 Science presented a group song BhubanaMandale in chorus.

    Chief-Guest Dr Manashi Sarmah, HOD Sanskrit, Manohari Devi Kanoi College ,Dibrugarh highlighted the importance of realising the values of sympathising and solidarity in the wake of celebrating Universal Brotherhood Day among the global community.The programme conclude with vote of thanks by Santanu Sir, PGT History.

 

OBSERVANCE OF SRI SRIMANTA SANKARDEV TITHI AND 95TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DR BHUPEN HAZARIKA ON 8TH SEPTEMBER 2021 BY SENIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS.

Sri Srimanta Sankardev tithi and 95th birth anniversary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika  was observed in the vidyalaya from 9 am on 8th September 2021. Vice Principal sir and teachers offered floral tribute to Sri Srimanta Sankardev and Dr Bhupen Hazarika. Two students, Trishita Kaushik and Farhana Parvin Ahmed performed a soulful borgeet. (Students of xii science) A Speech on Sri Srimanta Sankardev was delivered by Kasturi Devi (Student of xii science). Significance of the day was delivered by Santanu Nath sir (PGT HISTORY) which was accompanied by praises for the two legends. A song (Kohuwa Ban)of Dr Bhupen Hazarika was performed by Trishita Kaushik, Kasturi Devi, Farhana Parvin Ahmed, Shreyashree Mazumdar. (xii science) The programme concluded  with a vote of thanks and the students of the three streams (Arts, Commerce, Science) offered floral tribute to Sri Srimanta Sankardev and Dr Bhupen Hazarika legends of Assam.

 

REPORT ON TEACHERS DAY

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dibrugarh organized a cultural programme on the auspicious occasion of teacher’s day on 5th September,2021. Due to the pandemic situation the programme was organized on virtual platform. Kum. Kasturi Devi a student of XII (Science) spoke on the significance of the day. Kum. Trishna Dutta of class IX and Kr. Abhinash Mazindar Baruah of class VI presented a beautiful borgeet. Respected Principal, Sri Ravindranath .D. Savdeykar gave the welcome speech, where he told about the importance of teachers in a person's life. Kum. Sarmistha Kattayan a student of class XI (Science) performed Sattriya dance. A beautiful fusion, Muskurayega India was performed by Kr. Nibir Nayan Mahanta, Kum. Trishita Kaushik of XII (Science), Kr. Mousam Prayas Changmai of XI (Science)  and Kr. Joy Bala of class X. A beautiful dance programme was performed by Kum. Jey Nang Gogoi and Kum. Akansha Rajak of class XI (Science). Kum. Prerona Bharali, Kr. Mousam Prayas Changmai of class XI (Science) and Kr. Nibir Nayan Mahanta, Kum. Trishita Kaushik of class XII (Science) sang a beautiful song. Kum. Shaoli Joarder and Kr. Sauvik Prasar of class XII (Science) shared their experience down the memory lane. Smt. Jyotsna Devi senior teacher of our vidyalaya shared her experience and also thanked the students for organizing such a beautiful programme. Lastly, the programme concluded with vote of thanks by Vice Principal, Sri R. M Thakre.
